A Coast Guard helicopter has crashed in Alaska and all four crew members aboard were injured. The MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crashed Monday morning several miles outside of Sitka near Harbor Mountain, but no deaths were reported.
Typically, two air traffic controllers are assigned to the tower at Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) from 10am to 9.30pm — one handling planes and the other managing helicopters. Normally, the responsibilities are only combined after 9.30pm, when traffic decreases.
