Feeling a feeling is easier said than done oftentimes! Here’s a process I use that’s from IFS: 1. Find it in your body 2. Focus on that part of your body and see if you can name the emotion 3. Flesh out what it wants you to know or understand about it in this moment 4. Check in with yourself, how do you feel towards this emotion or Part of you? 5. Listen, understand, and validate this emotion or Part if your with curiosity and compassion 6. Ask it what it’s afraid would happen if it didn’t make
